A Remodel/Refresh Story Worth Telling
This family wanted to update their bathrooms and kitchens keeping what could be repurposed or reused and updating what was dysfunctional or out of date. Sometimes you don’t have to trash it all to get a new look. Paint can refresh tired cabinets and vanities.
The kitchen got a facelift and partial remodel. We removed the bar height countertops lowering all to counter height to create more workspace and open sight lines to the kitchen. New appliances and a working vent hood were added for greater functionality. To save on cost and waste cabinets were repurposed with a new coat of paint and new countertops, backsplash, and lighting completed the refresh.
In the Master Bath, vanities were repurposed with a new coat of paint and mirrors were updated with new frames. The lighting was updated throughout and terribly awkward pony walls were removed; then a free-standing Jacuzzi tub and large steam shower were created in the redesigning space.
For the Guest Bath, a built-in tub was removed and a walk-in shower was created for more practical use. The existing vanity was repurposed with paint and new lighting and mirror to complete the refresh.
